How do I disable the electronic voice that reads off everyone's callsigns? I have gone through all of the settings in the two programs and I cannot find that setting anywhere. Please help. That voice is really, really annoying.

Sorry. I should have mentioned that. I am using the single band (70 cm) DVMEGA on the Pi3 with the latest Dstar commander image.

Sorry. I should have mentioned that. I am using the single band (70 cm) DVMEGA on the Pi3 with the latest Dstar commander image. The "voice" you hear is coming from the radio you're using to communicate with the hotspot (the RPi) and not the hotspot itself. If you're using an Icom radio, there's a setting called "RX Callsign SPEECH" (or something similar) which you can turn on or off. Check the user manual for specifics.

You are correct. Thank you very much for pointing me in the right direction. That was very annoying.
