Hello;
I am trying to program my ID-5100 and ID-51 to access XLX reflectors. I have updated my Western D-Star image with the latest host files, however I still cannot connect.
In particular, I am trying to link to XLX357 module X and it just doesn't happen.
Here is how I have my software set up:
Your Callsign RPT1 RPT2 XRF357XL VA3IBA C VA3IBA G
Can someone enlighten me as to how the radios should be programmed?
Thanks in advance for any and all help / suggestions. I can successfully connect to XRF002A and other XRF reflectors successfully and I listen to the Roundtable every Thursday.

What response do you get after attempting to link? "Not linked" means there is no host file entry found, and "Linking to..." means it found an address for the reflector and is attempting to link there.
Are you able to link to XRF212A?

Hi Bob;
Thanks for your response. I think I have it working now. I changed the entries for XLX357 to the IP address in my host files. I then changed the radio software to REF357XL.
I was getting the "Not Linked" message prior to making the change.
Thanks again! Gord - VA3TWT
