Hello All,
So I downloaded the image for my DVAP, formatted my 32gb micro sd card, expanded the .img (Mac) on my Mac''s desktop (it created a Boot image) and then copied it onto the sd card...
It starts to boot with all this text scrolling up the screen and stops: the last line before everything stops says: end kernel panic - not syncing: UFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-bock(179,2
Any ideas?
Thanks, Mike in Eagle River, Wisconsin

Success... I went back to my PC running windows 7, downloaded the DVAP file and then struggled with finding a program that would extract the .img file and burn it to my 32GB micro sd card... (AnyBurn kept crashing, WinZip wanted $49 a year to use) After talking to some ham radio friends, one suggested using Win32 disk imager ... This imager is free and worked without any issues what so ever. After extracting the image and burning it directly to the micro sd card, I inserted the card into the Pi with the DVAP also plugged into one of the usb ports and fired it up.... I went to a full boot, restarted and rebooted... I launched the WiFi Config file and filled in the SSID (name of your home WiFi network), PSK (your homes WiFi password), Authentication (which I found by entering the ip address to access my router) which is WPA2-PSK I now have internet connection.... I also changed my Icom's ID 5100's simplex frequency to 145.65 which the D-Star Commander is set at..
Anyway I'll continue on with the instructions to make sure everything is filled in and done before I actually key it up....

So, it just keeps getting better...after watching the only youtube video on the D-Star Commander that explained the Interactive PC-based setup, this is the way to go....super fast and no messing with your D-Star transceiver by trying to figure out where exactly to put in the "SETCONF" text..... Of course if you knew everything, all would be a breeze....but that's the fun of trying to figure out and learn things along the way. Mike
