Ok, I have been at this now for about 16 hours total over 4 days. I followed the interactive PC-Based Setup diretions, and have the image running on the Raspberry pi. It is connected to the internet. Now I am trying to link to a reflector with my radio. I have my callsign set in the mystation tab. I am using the 445.67 MHz frequency that I set in the walkthrough. I added it as DVMEGA 1 in the repeater list under the SIMPLEX group. In my radio, DVMEGA 1 is set in the "FROM" and I have "Link to Reflector REF030CL" in the "TO" line. The DVAP definitely sees when I transmit, but gives me an error saying "Invalid MYCALL value of KE8HAF, ignoring." KE8HAF is my callsign, and I am registered on the DSTAR network and have successfully had this radio connect to a local repeater and have gone through (transmitted and received) a reflector (030C and others). I just cannot get this DVMEGA to work, and am about to give up. I was hoping to travel with it, but it has proven to be a real pain. Please help, I am out of ideas. Thank you!

The "Invalid MYCALL" error is generally caused by not programming the hotspot callsign and the radio MYCALL the same way. Did you use KE8HAF--without any suffix--as the callsign when you ran DStarConfig.exe? If you entered a callsign with a suffix when prompted for your callsign in the hotspot config, or if you had a typo in the callsign field when you ran DStarConfig, then the MYCALL in your radio will fail to match the callsign programmed into the hotspot.
You can remove the SD card, place it back into the PC card reader, and re-run DStarConfig.exe without having to reflash the image. I think I'd start there.

Bob,
Wow, I feel dumb. That was absolutely the problem. Working great now. In my radio, I had KE8HAF/Wes in as MYCALL. I got rid of the "/Wes" in my radio and worked immediately. Thank you for the help! I was getting pretty discouraged.
