Could someone tell me what the UR/RPT1/RPT2 settings would be like using the RT systems software for the ID-51 to configure memories for the DV MEGA?
My frequency is: 446.500.

The RPT1/2 fields are not used with the hotspot and left blank
Here's an example:
Channel URCALL 000 CQCQCQ (this channel is used in QSO once a link has been established) 001 U (unlink command -- seven blanks with a "U" in 8th character) 002 REF012AL (link command for REF 12A) 003 XRF555DL (link command for XRF 555D) 004 DCS006BL (link command for DCS 006B)
... other commonly used link commands
094 SYSINFO (sends system info to email/text) 095 WIFICFG1 (changes to First WiFi config i.e. house WiFi) 096 WIFICFG2 (changes to 2nd Wifi config i.e. cellular hotspot) 097 SHUTDOWN (shuts down RasPi) 098 REBOOT (reboots RasPi) 099 HOSTUPDT (updates hosts files from online servers)

Vincent, This is how I programme my ID51E Plus for use with my DV Mega. My DV Mega frequency is setup as a 'Simplex' channel in Digital > Repeater List > Simplex I can change the DV Mega frequency from the radio, but primarily I'm using 431.050 shown as 'DV Mega 1' All the 'commands' are stored in Digital > Your Call Sign e.g. REF001CL to link to Reflector 001C So, I set the ID-51 'From' to the DV Mega frequency by using 'Blue button' > Repeater List . Simplex and choose 'DV Mega 1' Then for 'To' I use the 'Blue button' and choose 'Your Call Sign' and scroll to REF001C W Wide and select that Press TX for a second to link to Ref 001C Blue button again whilst in 'To' > Your Call Sign > Scroll to 'Use Repeater' to put the CQ's in the 'To' field. You can also use 'Reflector' rather than 'Your Call Sign' and choose 'Use Reflector' as my radio screen shot shows. You will see all the other commands in the 'Your Call Sign' list, just choose the one you need.

Hi Gary,
You're a gentlemen and a scholar. This is extremely helpful. I think it's better to go this way, rather than use up regular memories and have to program each one for a different favorite repeater, reflector, etc;. I'm going to do it this way. The screen shots and photo were very useful.
Thank you again.

Vincent, it works for me although I'm sure it's not the only way to do it. I'd offer you my Icom config file, but it's not going to be much use to you on your side of the 'pond'

I wonder how the DVMega knows these commands. i.e...line 43 says "shutdown"; how does the dvmega understand to shutdown from this command?

Hi all, I new to this and have my DVMEGA and Raspberry Pi 3 running good. I just learned about these radio commands here and need some help. I entered in the commands in my ID-51 as described above and transmitted those command with no success. (REBOOT, SHUTDOWN, Wifi 1 and Wifi 2). Is there something I'm missing? Is there something in the config program of ICRDDB Gateway or Repeater that I need to add? Also is there documentation on how to configure everything in Dstar Commander that explains what each part of the configure does?
Thanks in advance, Billy N5DEA

Make sure you haven't altered the time in the Raspberry Pi from UTC...that can stop the commands from working.
Yes, the docs are zipped into the download file.
