I have a Pi2 Model B, I am running a VHF DVAP with it using ircDDB Gateway 20140326. Works great, other than I can not get it to work with either the SHUTDOWN or REBOOT commands. When ever I transmit either command the log shows USER: SHUTDOWN NOT FOUND Anyone have any ideas, I have the callsign set in my radio and the same in the icrDDB in the manual it says both call sign have to be the same. They are and it will not work..
I downloaded the image g4klx_dvap_dc1_12 like i said everything works great, just can not get the remote shutdown or reboot to work.
Thanks for any help Dave

How did you configure the image on the Pi? If you manually configured the ircddbgateway instead of using the DStarConfig.exe program included with the download, then the gateway itself is configured, but the DStar Commander program that runs in the background won't have the necessary config information for the RF commands to work.

W6KD: Assuming a stock image, what is the best practice to enable ircddb on your image as to not affect your custom commands?

Either open a VNC terminal session or connect a monitor/kbd/mouse to the Pi, and enable ircddb using the ircddbgateway config GUI as you would with any other G4KLX based image. Turning on ircddb won't bother DStar Commander. It *will*, however, dramatically increase the bandwidth the pi uses due to the ircddb backbone traffic, so beware if doing this on a metered (e.g. cellular) data connection.
