Email config

Is it possible to change the email address where you receive the notifications? Every  time i try to use the command i get an email from google saying "Sign-in attempt prevented,Someone just tried to sign in to your Google Account xxxxx@gmail.com from an app that doesn't meet modern security standards".
Apparently the only way to fix it is to change(lower) the security settings(https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/6010255) but its my main account so id rather use another one for this.
