A significantly revised set of host files has been released in conjunction with the release of DStar Commander V1.20 (14 Nov 2015) The primary hostfile server used to update DStar Commander also had to be moved due to changes at the server hosting site. For users of the dvMega version of DStar Commander V1.12 and earlier, I've discovered a minor bug that will cause the REF reflector entries in the hostfiles to be dropped after performing a hostfile update from the secondary server (which happens as a result of the old primary server being moved/unavailable). This can be easily remedied by doing two hostfile update cycles: send HOSTUPDT command in the URCALL, followed by rebooting the pi, and then repeat the HOSTUPDT and reboot again. From that point on the program will access the correct primary server and no further intervention should be required. For those who are comfortable editing files on the Pi, you can edit the /etc/hostfile_sources.txt file...change the first ftp line to read: dschost1.w6kd.comthen reboot the pi and host updates will work normally thereafter. Or, alternatively, you can upgrade to V1.20 of DStar Commander. Regards

Trying to connect to XRF021B and it consistently says "linking to" did hostupdt twice with the reboot. I am using a DVAP and raspberry pi. I talked to Ramesh and he stated that they changed the hostfile and to go into the PI and issue command klxupdate hostfiles however that command does not work. Can you log on to XRF021B and see what I need to do? Love the commander program however several users are experiencing the same issue.
