Greetings, I hope a new member is welcomed.
We have downloaded DStarCommander_dvMega_V1_20.zip and unzipped it, burned the image and configured with the included DStarConfig.exe. It is being used with the DVMEGA dual-band RPi radio on a Pi2.
On first boot, the email returned is:
####### begin email ####### DStar Commander V1.20 Configuring from Windows interface Gateway config set XXXXX B Freq: 441.875 Ethernet IP: 192.168.1.108 ####### end email #######
We are able to successfully link to and talk with the desired targets e.g. "REF001CL" in the UR field of an Icom ID-51 radio, returning to "CQCQCQ " after the linking is successful. The DStar Commander enhancements are non-functional however, such as "FRQ44115", "REBOOT " and "SHUTDOWN".
We'd very much prefer to have access to the DStar Commander enhancements if at all possible.
Please advise?

Are you using the same callsign that you used to configure the hotspot? Your use of the term "we" suggests maybe that other people (with other callsigns) are trying to use the hotspot commands. That won't work.
DStar Commander is intended to be used as a single-operator hotspot, not in a community hotspot/repeater application.

Thank you, yes I was configuring for a friend about to snowbird for the winter. Changing "MY" to his call sign works with "REBOOT " and "SHUTDOWN", but not with "FRQ44115" even though the Pi2 reboots as expected:
... M: 2015-11-17 20:02:30: Radio header decoded - My: XXXXX /YNOT Your: FRQ44115 Rpt1: DIRECT Rpt2: DIRECT Flags: 00 00 00 M: 2015-11-17 20:02:31: AMBE for XXXXX Frames: 0.8s, Silence: 0.0%, BER: 0.0% M: 2015-11-17 20:02:31: Transmitting to - My: XXXXX B/ Your: XXXXX Rpt1: XXXXX G Rpt2: XXXXX B Flags: 01 00 00 I: 2015-11-17 20:04:01: Starting D-Star Repeater - 20151012 ...
and "Not linked" is heard on the previous frequency 441.875 MHz. "REBOOT " is also effective on 441.875, so the frequency doesn't get changed as needed.

OK, it appears that the latest version of G4KLX writes out a new copy of the config files when the modules shut down, which was overwriting the changes made by DStar Commander.
Fixed in V1.20a

Thank you Bob, v1.20a did the job.
[Edit] "HOSTUPDT" however does not reboot, despite an email stating so:
DSTAR host files updated--Rebooting DPlus: S1 DCS: S1 DExtra: S1 DExtra merged to DPlus Hostfiles updated from S1
I was watching a continuous "tail -f" of the log file in an ssh window. That's probably a good thing, as I can't imagine why a reboot should be necessary.

No, that's a misnomer left over in the message from a previous version that did do a restart after updating the host files. It probably should say "restarting" since now it only shuts down and restarts the ircddbgateway module.
