Is there a way to change the frequency of the DVMega without doing a fresh install and going through the setup program?

Yes there is, Scott. DStar Commander has the ability to change frequencies, and with a dual-band DV Mega, even the band, on the fly. It's documented in the .pdf files that provide the instructions for the software.

You don't have to do a fresh install, just run the setup program to change the frequency. Shouldn't take more than a minute or two. It will take less time than it will to change your radio freq.
