Hi folks,
I do observe the following behaviour of my DVMEGA (V2.01) hotspot:
When after hours of regular connection to my favourite reflector I try to connect to a different one, the DVMEGA hotspot doesn't do anything.
Transceiver involved is a ID-5100 and command comes out of YOUR CALL SIGN list or DIRECT INPUT (UR) [i.e. XRF022AL].
Solution: I trigger HOSTUPDT and after that I can hop around without any problems.
I do have a nightly autoreload of the hostlist so that unknown, fresh IPs are not a factor.
Any idea? Did someone else observe this?

ATTN Robert: May I suggest to integrate PICLONE in one of the next images? It is fantastic to simply have a second SD in a USB-microSD-Card-Reader attached to the Raspberry and just press a button to backup the whole image.

It's not doing anything at all...e.g. no "linking to" or "not linked" messages?
I'd start by looking to see if ircddbgateway is running -- given that HOSTUPDT is working, it demonstrates that dstarrepeater, DStar Commander (cmdprocess.py) and your internet connection are all still functioning. Looking at the ircddbgateway and dstarrepeater logs in /var/log might also be useful.
Also, loading the hostfiles every day is way overkill...they are typically updated monthly
A post here on how to install PICLONE might be helpful to folks. I generally avoid adding software that does not facilitate running the hotspot itself, and leave the addition of utilities and other programs to the users themselves.
