I am a net control for several D-Star nets, one of them being the International D-Star Net. I would like to be able to view all of the call signs as they are keying up on my hotspot, during the nets. Is there a way that this can be accomplished? I am using a Raspberry Pi2, with a DV Mega, running D-Star Commander 2.1.

DStar Commander was designed with headless operation in mind, so there is no dashboard or other facility to do the sort of monitoring you describe.
What I do when running a net on DStar is establish a second connection to the reflector with a PC using WinDV via a ThumbDV/dongle, and mute the audio--the call history window in WinDV shows the last 100 keyups, as well as providing an audio level meter that serves as a feedback indicator to monitor that your audio is making it through the reflector. Additionally, WinDV serves as a hot spare in case anything goes wonky with the hotspot...I can quickly unmute WinDV and switch to it as a backup.

Bob - would it be possible to view the log file in the terminal window while using VNC? I imagine this is a bit crude and not as clean as the WinDV method you mentioned, but could be beneficial for occasional use.

KC9SIO - not sure if it is possible, that is why I posted the question to W6KD. I'm just guessing at this point, but I thought it might be possible to view the DStarRepeater log file using the tools built into the operating system.
