I had ATT install new home router and dstar commander wont connect to it ,it does show signal strength when I scan but says not linked. All info is entered correctly I believe for new router .Does onboard router need to be deactivated or not? I said NO during setup but not sure why it wont connect. Thanks Jeff

There is no onboard router on any model of the Pi.
If the new router has MAC address enumeration or similar enabled, you'll need to specifically allow the Pi's WiFi adapter to connect to the router. That's done in the router's config program.
That said, the #1 reason--by FAR--for an unsuccessful connection to a wifi router is a typo in the SSID or password during setup...it must be exactly correct, including strict attention to upper/lower case.
You can reconfigure an image without having to re-flash the whole thing just by putting the SD card back into the PC reader and re-running the DStarConfig.exe program.
