I have setup a Raspberry PI, DV mega, and d-star commander. I I've been working on configuring the software for days and my question is When I key the Mic, D-Star repeater log shows "Invalid RPT1 value WB4KOG B, ignoring.
I have read and look for a few days but cannot figure what the problem is. Can anyone help?
Thanks in-advance for any help.

I'm thinking the problem is that you have WB4KOG B (which is the call sign of a repeater in the E Memphis area) programmed in the RPT1 field of your radio.
If you have RPT1 validation turned on in the DStar Config, then your radio's RPT1/2 settings must match the call set in the hotspot. If you have validation off (default in DStar Commander), then leave the RPT1/2 fields blank.

Remove it out of the RPT1 field in the ID-880h?

Yes. Set the radio you use to communicate to simplex mode, with blanks in the RPT1 and RPT2 fields. You can also set it to duplex mode with a zero offset, in which case the RPT1 must match the call and band module of the hotspot (KM4ODW B I presume) and RPT2 must be the same callsign as the hotspot with module G (e.g. KM4ODW G).
Sounds like you need to read a primer on DStar operation, as understanding the callsign field settings in your radio is basic essential knowledge. The Dstar101 website (www.dstar101.com) is a reasonably good place to start.

Kent (KQ4KK) sent me the below links and they were also a big help. www.youtube.com/watch?v=rR9oTNlvzeI www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLdHkCQ2Rzc www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Yh7yOiHQeE
Thanks for your help and Happy New Year. 73
