When I run DStarConfig.exe it wont allow me to use a $ in my wifi password. The Hotspot wont boot up properly after that.
I would like to be able to use RF to change my wifi... is there a way I can put dummy password in the DStarConfig.exe, and then edit it once the Hotspot boots???
I am reluctant to change the password on teh wifi, as theree are many things i would have to update afterwards.

You can use the WiFi config GUI on the Pi, but if you set it up using that, the RF WIFICFG commands will not work, as the needed config info won't be written into the file.
Not sure if the $ will be accepted by that config program, either.

A long password formed from a random combination of lower and uppercase characters and numbers is still quite secure.
A wifi password is only there to keep your neighbors out of your wifi network.
