Having issues getting into DCS005, says linking to. I emailed the DCS owner and he stated, check your hostfiles and use dcs005.xreflector.net
I did a hostupdt command but no luck.

Host files were updated 24 Dec and should fix this. So please run HOSTUPDT again.

Hi, Having same issues with DCS005B. Have done HOSTUPDT and checked ip in DCS_Hosts.txt as dcs005.xreflector.net and rebooted, but still just get 'linking' message as of 31 Dec. Thanks Greg |

Looks like the reflector is down, as I can't link to it with WinDV either.

Hi Bob
I emailed John (G4TSN) and he gave me an ip 87.117.229.174 to put in DCS_Hosts that also doesn't work...
Just on a related matter, when I put HOSTUPDT in the 'To' field, it doesn't seem to update the files. All the /usr/local/etc entries are dated 2014/2015. Tried several times, do I need to forward a port?

The "To" field? It goes into the URCALL field in the radio.

Yes, I meant that. So the TX setting is:
UR: HOSTUPDT
R2: MB6IGC G
R1: MB6IGC B
My: G4CUI
MB6IGC is gateway callsign. Tried putting Mycall as MB6IGC as well but still no updates.
