It's best to leave the time server configured using UTC as set up in the image...the DStar Commander command processor can lock up under some circumstances associated with local daylight savings <-> standard time changes, which isn't a factor with time always set to UTC in the Pi.
Cheers

Hi Thank you for your reply This is not about change the time it is about enabling the time server which is in the software but has been disabled Enabling this function by removing the # from the Exec line and on a reboot you will see the Time Server windows which you can then configure under the preferences tab the radio will then announce with a spoken voice the current time i.e. say the time every fifteen minutes or half hour or whatever you set it to I how have this function fully working and the Commander software is working very well on all functions For those interested you have to run the files under the sudo command in order to be able to save the changes ( this is what I was not doing ) the IP address for the timeserver is 127.0.0.1 and Port No is 11002 The instructions are in a read me file on the commander software desktop Chris G7TCW
