I can't exactly figure out what went wrong. I burned the image to the SD card run the initial setup exe with my settings. Boot up the pi and every command I give it I get a "RPT? KD9CHO B" message. I'll issue it a link command and it tells me I'm linked but I never hear anything or when I transmit I don't get a phone response (either they can't hear me or I can't hear them) on 1C or 30C. I've even forwarded some ports to the pi using the DV3000 settings, as another ham has suggested:
I'm beginning to think I may have a faulty board as I have tried to use the same DVAP on my computer and I can fully connect to some reflectors 14C (and yet they tell me "i"m not getting any packets from you" complaint) and others are receive only 1C, 30C and I can hear them fine. I have been told twice my registration on DSTAR is fine and I have also registered all the suffixes I've seen B, C, G on my dstar gateway page, in case that was a hold up. I am frustrated this didn't just work out of the box, and half tempted to give up on dstar.
