Running the DVMega Config file from the latest download, and the program comes up with "Not a DVAP Program " 7021 DVM etc. Any clues as to where the config file for DVM is located.... Thanks

It sounds like you have the DVAP version of the download...if you attempt to configure a dvMega on that version of the image you'll get that.
Several others have successfully used the latest (1.10c) dvMega image...

HI bob Tried various downloads for DV Mega all produce the same results on the config file... "It appears your have a DVAP" etc. Somewhere in the comment sections someone noted that the DVAP file was apparently included in the DVMega zipfile.... Any idea of where to find the Config File for DVMega at this time? I've tried all noted locations etc. Thanks

The crossed files issue was fixed in V1.10b
I just downloaded a fresh copy of the v1.10c dvMega image from the server, flashed the image to a card with Win32DiskImager, configured it with DstarConfig, and it loaded right up.
The most common mistake that leads to the problem you are describing is when someone simply copies the .img file to the SD card in Windows rather than using Win32DiskImager or another disk imaging program to create a bootable image on the SD card using the .img file as its source.
If you have done things correctly, after flashing the image, your SD card should show up in Windows with the name "boot" and there should be ~20 or so files in there, including config.txt, kernel.img etc etc.
To reiterate, the bootable SD card is not created by copying the .img file from the HDD to the SD card.

Hi bob: Thanks for the primer. I've burned the various img files as per instructions... I will try the 1.01C again making sure to format the card and give it a shot... Thanks again Regards 73 Duff

And to the other problem I was having. In the DVMEGA config section I would change the frequency from the default 431000000 to mime, click Ok then Save. I'd kill and restart the server. When I'd go back into the configure program the 431 frequency was back. I was having the same problem getting the Remote option set. Save, kill and restart then check the config program and it was back to default.
What I decided and it worked, was to save the configuration log out, shutdown and power back up. Why the files weren't written before are a mystery to me. I checked permissions etc. But that part is working now. I can configure using the ircDDB app and same with the RS-MS1A app for the 5100. But when I key I get a busy. I can connect but not talk. I'll start working on that tonight or tomorrow.
Thank you

You have to shut down the application (dstarrepeater/ircddbgateway) before running its configuration utility or the changes will not be saved.
