D-Star Repeater Closing On It's Own

Hi guys, I've had my DVAP and Pi3 running DV Commander for a couple of weeks now. For the most part it runs fine but every now and then when I goto change to a different reflector it doesn't respond. In every case when I log into the Pi I see that the D-Star Repeater has closed down. When I try to restart just the D-Star Repeater it doesn't seem to want to start. If I reboot the Pi it's back online and business as usual. When this happens, the ircDDB gateway is still running and I can see the log changing.
This was a fresh install of DV Commander with never any hard shutdowns. The only thing that I did after installing DV Commander was expand the file system. Sometimes it will run for 4 or 5 days and then the D-Star Repeaters closes down. I have two of these setups, one with a 2m DVAP and the other with a 70cm DVAP. The other one i think has only closed down one time. The one in question has done it at least three times. It's running on wi-fi where the other one that's only done it once is hard-wired.
Any ideas?
