Hi Everyone,
First post here and a new DVAP owner. Just setup my Raspberry Pi2 using Dstar Commander with good success. So far I have been able to connect to a Reflector and had a nice QSO as well, so things apparently are working smoothly. Still need to program my ID51A with some additional reflectors and the Radio Controlled Commands.
I did notice this one error message during startup:
Cannot connect the TCP client socket, err=110
This message showed up in the ircDDB Gateway window which also indicates ircDDB status is disabled.
Any thoughts on what this could be?
Thanks for any help and thanks W6KD for a smooth process.

ircDDB is disabled by default in the image...its primary purpose in the hotspot is for call sign routing, use of which is a bad operating practice as it is implemented in DSTAR. So that's normal.
The socket error is most likely related to the internet connection you're using, especially if it's a WiFi dongle. Sometimes a really slow DHCP server in your router can cause it. If you're able to communicate normally, chalk it up as a startup glitch and ignore.
